Barbara Anastácio is a New York–based filmmaker known for her emotionally intelligent and visually distinctive storytelling. With a background in Anthropology and Photography from Goldsmiths College, her work bridges narrative, documentary, and branded worlds with unique visual flair and raw storytelling.

She has helmed music videos, multiple scripted and hybrid short films, and created episodic series such as My Place (NOWNESS) and The One Series (WSJ). She is currently developing her first narrative feature while continuing her branded collaborations.
